Has anyone seen the girls play yet. How do they look and how are the newcomers doing.

All right, I found this preview on the Pilot site. Sollars sounds pretty optimistic.

Pilot preview

Of course, the big scorers will be Dollente and Sievers, and I expect Burriss will be great at a little of everything like she was last year. The one thing I wonder about is the center position. Warren did such a great job there last season and it will take two or three players to replace what she brought.

One other plus is that most of the team is returning, but there are four newcomers who can help out right away.

If this ends up being the last year for Sollars I hope the Pilots can send him off in style. Like so many other Pilots he's a class act.

First game is Monday, November 3 v. Concordia @ 7:00, then Saturday the 8th v. Eastern Oregon @ 2:00 (then back home to the chat room for the USD soccer match Cool).
Remember, the greatest intangible of all is love. Number two is grit.
