Coach Smith Named FieldTurf Coach of the Year

Of course, it helps to have Bill Irwin on the voting committee! Smile And two other former WCC players - Aly Wagner and Brian Ching.

I'm not sure I like the naming rights thing - it makes it sound like Garret got an award for having a nice turf field.

The award used to be the NSCAA coach of the year award. Sounded much better.


Nice to see that Gavin Wilkinson of the Timbers brought home some hardware for his efforts, too.
