US tops Canada in first round of 4 Nations Cup

The US defeated Canada 4-0 in their first game. Stephanie started and Angie subbed in later in the game.

You might have read the wrong report. The one you cite says that Steph came in in the 64th minute when Becky Saurbrunn broke her nose and Angie didn't play.
She played outside right, not her usual spot on the left.
I thought it was significant that Rampone is the new team captain and Solo started. Looks like a good start for Pia.
Both Christine and Sophie played the entire game for Canada
