Tualatin's Courtney Verloo gets a sentence in the Tigard/Tualatin/Sherwood Times Today for making the 6A all star list ("our" Taylor Brooke also made the list and Lincoln's Kendall Johnson was 6A POY). Not mentioned in the article is that Courtney made the U-16 trip to Brasil where she scored two goals in a game against a Brasilian Women's club there. Ussoccer.com article
A big part of the Times article is that Amanda Dutra was named the 5A POY. She'll be going to Portland State next year. That adds to a core of good players that the Vikings have been able to recruit in the last couple years. Who Knows - maybe that program will pick up a bit.

Nice finds, Geezer! And welcome to the 500 post club! 
How sweet would it be to have a trio of local studs in Verloo, Brooke, and Johnson? I love all the California and Colorado and Utah kids that we've got, but it's always nice to have some Oregon players too. And when they're this good... yeah, that would be pretty awesome.

I was going to make you something myself... something home made from the heart means more, right? I have some glitter and construction paper left over from Christmas...
