TDS puts UP in the rankings

Yeah, it doesn't mean anything in the long run, but TopDrawer has seen the error of his ways and put UP in his tournament selections bracket at #41 out of a field of 48

Hey! it's a step in the right direction.

And by contrast, 2 steps in the wrong direction:

Pre-Season #1 ranked Santa Clara lost again, to start the season 0-2. The Broncos lost 2-1 @ unranked Loyola University-Chicago (and dropped to #5) and then lost again 4-3 @ #16 ranked UIC.... I wonder how much further they will fall?

Ouch.

TopDrawer's rankings came out for this week for the men, too.

By virtue of their drubbings at the hands of two very good teams, TDS moved UP from #41 in the rankings to....

No telling how high we could go at that rate.

TopDrawer has been good to the UP men, too.

The Sept. 15 tournament projection has UP at #35 over all, up two spots from last week.

The only other WCC team in the projected tournament list is Santa Clara, who is riding the luge in the other direction. From starting out at #1, they have now dropped to #30.
