I'm curious, what is the story of the hidden users?
If you are like some people I know and don't want to admit how much time you spend lurking here, you have the ability to hide whether people can see if you are on line. I don't know who would do such a thing.

You on the lam, or something, Geezer?
Wait a minute, wasn't it your avatar who said, "call me mint jelly, I'm on the lam!"?

Re: Site Statistics
I'd much prefer just plain old Purplegeezer. Oh well. I guess you and Auto needed a self image enhancement. That's cool. You're both big boys and I can't control you.
Personally, if I made a change, it would be to the Old Norse' "berserker". Now that has a deep and lasting meaning. And over the years some of my Norse friends have called me just that.

Thank you Auto. I was starting to wonder if PN was suffering from mass hysteria and wasn't sure what was going to happen next.
Actually, I know you guys are just having fun - something I never do!

I dunno, I may stick with this. I've been looking into a Berlitz course in Portuguese.

From the CIA Factbook on Brazil:
Languages:
Portuguese (official and most widely spoken language); note - less common languages include Spanish (border areas and schools), German, Italian, Japanese, English, and a large number of minor Amerindian languages

Re: Site Statistics
The "who is online" map is kind of addictive. I take a peek at it almost every time I log on since it was pointed out, and I've been writing down all the countries I have seen from around the world.
Besides people logging on from all over the US and Canada, the map has shown these locations
Japan,
S.Korea
China
Vietnam (Hanoi)
India
Afganistan
Saudi Arabia
Ukraine
Latvia
Sweden (I had no idea Umea was so far North)
Germany
The Netherlands
Engand
Columbia
Panama
Mexico
Many of these are more than solitary events. I even took a couple screen shots to prove it. here's my favorite:
Anybody notice others?
