Top 25 say hello to the Portland Pilots. Nice to see you it's been since 1956-57 in the AP, never in coaches' poll.

Discussion question: I know last night was a blowout, but what does it say about Bruin fan's outlook on the season when they were quieter than the Minnesota fans tonight?

Robin was clutch all game long from the FT line. I'd really like to see some other players cough*Nik*cough improve in that area.

Those 11 rebounds by Raivio were just huge. Having a guard who can rebound like that is a luxury because he can push it up the court the other way immediately. Nolen is going to turn out to be a fine player for Minnesota. His perimeter defense at the end of the game was ridiculous, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him at the next level someday. But, enough about that...
How about our Pilots!

Rev will have plenty more wins, lets just hope they are obtained guiding the Pilots for as long as possible. This much success will not go unnoticed by those in search of a capable coach, perhaps among them the Ducks.

If Rev ever goes to the Ducks, I will hurl incessantly. God no. All the same, we can't take anything for granted.

Re: Pilots vs. Golden Gophers, 6:30pm, ESPNU, Today 11/27
How about all the times Robin, Kramer, and Luke were not able to grab an offensive rebound themselves but got up to tip the ball away to a teammate? Doesn't show up in the box score but working for extra possessions like that wins games.onetouchfutbol wrote: Those 11 rebounds by Raivio were just huge. A bit bipolar in reaction. Just enjoy the season and try not to look too far in the future. My goodness - stay in moment. Good luck come Sunday and all Pilots fans should go to Mass. I just might have to roll over to Anaheim for the game.

Easy on us, MJ.
It's not like we have had practice reacting to beating ranked teams.

Something cool during the game: Lined up side-by-side for a FT were Rick Raivio's son, Ralph Sampson's son, and Jack Sikma's son.

You mean other than rolling St. Mary's last year?
I kid, MJ, I kid... thanks for the kind words!
All the pressure is off the Pilots now - we can go into Sunday's game relaxed and loose.

Absolutely, Sunday is a bonus game, they can relax and play with nothing to lose at all... Against a top 10 team... it's how we roll. Love it.

Holy crap. I think I need to look into Vegas for the WCC tourney now - as a community band member I don't know if I'd make the travel roster...but if I appear at the game, on the other hand...
