Sikma at Portsmouth Invitational
His team has actually made it to the championship game! With Luke averaging around 8 points and 11 boards a game in the process no less..

(He's on the Cherry, Bekaert & Holland team)
Pretty big honor for Luke to get an invite to the prestigious tourney for graduating seniors, and to perform well is just a cherry on the sundae.

Re: Sikma at Portsmouth Invitational
It looks like Luke was not one of the original invites. He replaced Dayton's Chris Wright. But, he's definitely shining on the boards and taking advantage of the situation...
It looks like the team lost in the final, the first game when Luke came off of the bench from what I can tell.

Luke did well

Luke averaged 8 points and 9 boards, tied for 4th. McConnell avg 5 points and led with 7 assists.
Not many big name players. Bryan Amaning from Wash. 16-7.
Interesting spreadsheets with measurables.

Re: Sikma at Portsmouth Invitational
In Luke’s diary -- Life in La Palma: My Rookie Year of Spanish Hoops, he mentions how his Portsmouth experience got him to the Canary Islands – a good read.
