Keelin's Twin?
Does Keelin have an identical twin or what? I swear during the heat of action that I saw Keelin battling in the middle of the defense one moment, then battling in the middle of the offense the next.
Seeing her battling in the middle of the defense and winning 90% of everything in the air made me realize just how special she has become. But I don't know if I was hallucinating or she was helping out a less than 100% Megan Rapinoe, because I swear I saw her do the same thing on offense.
I think 80% of every goal kick from either GK she got her head on the ball first and tipped it in any direction she wished. She seemed to be everywhere! As good as Betsy Barr and Lisa Sari were, Keelin seems to soar ever higher.
Any one else notice this, or is my failing memory making things up?

Re: Keelin's Twin?
I agree Keelin was gobbling up all the headers either side of the midline. I expect nothing less from her given how she played last year. She has jumping in her genes. (remember her Dad played in the NBA).

There's an article on her in the Tribune
Black days ahead.... her sister will play roundball for the Zags.

FANatic.
i agree, i think keelin has a twin, but i think you may be confusing michelle olivier with keelin. i know there were several times during the game when they were so close to each other on the field an i had to look at their numbers to tell them apart. besides their numbers, the only way i can tell them apart is the length of their hair. seriously, their games are pretty similar in my opinion.

Re: Keelin's Twin?
Hey, what is so bad about her sister is going to be a Zag? It is good to be a Zag.
By the way, at the Oregon game, did you notice how many kids were there wearing Zag apparel. More than a few students.
We may be Zags ( I, an old Zag) but we can still cheer for Pilots. Even buy season tickets.
Can't wait for Saturday.

What's bad is if she is at all like her sister, we're in trouble.

Nah... those were just the new freshmen from Spokane who don't know any better. Soon they will learn.
Seriously though - with the athletic genes that family has, I'm sure Keelin's sister will be a stud up there in Spokane.
