College Rankings Out

OK, so I really don't put much stock in these things (the US News & World Report's annual college rankings) but I heard that they completely re-did their formula after many school presidents threatened a mass withdrawal from the survey, and it's always fun to look at these.

Anyway... UP was ranked the No. 5 master's college on the West Coast - not bad at all!

The WCC is doing itself pretty darn well in terms of schools on the west too... here's a ranking of west coast master's universities:

Note Seattle U right there at No. 6. Poor SMC was the only one to not make the top ten. (And the NERVE of putting three schools, including Gonzaga, ahead of UP. I just don't believe it!)

USD and Pepperdine aren't on that list... they are on the national list, Pepperdine checking in at a healthy #54:

I just couldn't find USF anywhere... I'm assuming that they probably didn't participate in the survey.
