I'm Back...

... so what did I miss?

Sounds like it was a great weekend out at Merlo. Tough result with UCLA, but honestly... we really can't downplay the fact that we just beat the #1 team in the country in USC (even if they didn't have Amy Rodriguez). I'm sure some historians can correct me on this one, but I can't remember the last time we beat the #1 team in the country... Penn State or UCLA in 2005 maybe? This is proof that we can run with the top teams in the country, and that is with four freshman starting and two main players coming back from injuries. The potential of this team seems pretty darn great.

(BTW: Hope Rachael's knee is OK. Don't expect a ton of info to come out about it... HIPPA rules pretty clearly state that medical info can't really be released, so it will take some time before we hear what's up. So practice patience and hope for the best everyone!)

Anyway, I'm glad you all held down the fort for me at Merlo while I was gone.
