I am sure many of you already know, but The Venerable Father Basil Anthony Marie Moreau CSC will soon become Blessed. Moreau will be beatified September 15 in Le Mans, France. Fr. Moreau formed the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1837. Eventually, as we all know, men from the Congregation of Holy Cross made it out to Portland to continue their mission as "Educators in Faith" out on the Bluff.

They also started a small Catholic university in Northern Indiana widely referred to as "The UP of the Midwest."

Anyway, I know this is a great occasion for the members of CSC, as well as those of us able to be educated and formed by them.
