Pilot XC Teams Picked to Win WCC (Of Course)
In what has become an annual tradition, both the UP men's and women's cross country teams were picked to win the WCC. Somewhat amazingly, some rogue WCC coach didn't vote for UP to win the women's championship. Hmmmm........ I demand a recount.

Also... don't think this was posted earlier, but UP's new Kenyan freshman Alfred Kipchumba won his first meet while breaking the course record at Western Oregon. Granted, most of UP's top runners weren't running and the competition wasn't elite, but still... pretty darn impressive for his first race. I think we can expect big things out of him and David Kinsella this year.
