Santa Clara on the bubble
Santa Clara has put itself in the position where it needs to win the rest of its games or lose a chance at an at large bid.
They lost today to San Diego 2:1. SCU is now 3-9-2, so any tie or loss puts them below .500 for the season. In order to be considered for an at large bid, you must have a record of .500 or better.
Their only other hope is to win the conference for the automatic bid, but with another tie or loss, that's not likely, either

Yeah, I thought they were putting themselves under today while were in the chat room during the Zag game. I know SCU is a perenial foe, but I don't like them being in this kind of predicament. It makes them more dangerous. I think they are a better team than their record.

That's why I figured I'd better check it and post.
I didn't mean to rush off, but I needed to leave.

I know you can't ever count SCU out. But they are very close to knocking themselves out!
They will still probably give us all we can handle when they come to Merlo in a few weeks. Thankfully, our Pilots are playing like champions and not taking anyone lightly.
That's what really makes our team special.
