WOW WOW WOW! Best Pic of Darren Cooper Ever!!!

So if you've been on the forums for a long time, you probably know that Darren Cooper is one of my all-time favorite Pilots. Just love the guy.

Anyway, so you may or may not know that Coop was a drama minor and had a very memorable role as Daddy Brubeck in the musical Sweet Charity when he was a senior. It was, in a word, amazing. I mean truly.

So I was on UP's official site (www.up.edu) just a few minutes ago, and the rotating main image was none other than Coop in his fully Daddy glory:



Seriously, how great is that??? Anyway, this was his big song, and I think he may have done a better job than good old Sammy Davis Jr (who, of course, lived in Portland for a long time!):

I have seen that great pic many, many times, but I never realized that was him! Awesome!! Good find.

AMAZING!!! Oh man I miss that guy. It would have been great to see Coop, Pooh and Donald see better success on the court. Such talent and at the same time some very cool, down to earth kids.

Niiiiiice! Yet another great find, Stonehouse! I sometimes wonder how good the Pilots would have been without Coop's injuries. What a great guy.
