Re: Pilots vs NAU gameday thread
Here is the sequence of pictures I got of Megan's goal (I combined them for easier uploading)...I'd tried posting them earlier, but I guess it didn't work. I don't wanna say anything, but that looks like a shot with her left foot...

Yep, but I don't think that's the one we've been talking about. At least I've been talking about the cannon shot that missed.
Re: Pilots vs NAU gameday thread
UPSF you and I are talking about the same right footed rocket blast.

Re: Pilots vs NAU gameday thread
This comes late in the thread but I have been meaning to ask. Jason Brough was sick or unavailable for the live broadcast and Angela Harrison filled in to do the live broadcast. Is this THE Angela Harrison the Pilot GK in the late nineties.
She did a great job by the way.

Re: Pilots vs NAU gameday thread
You mean THE Angela Harrison of the epic NCAA semi-final 129 minute battle between 20 NC players who were high school All Americans and one well-coached team?
Re: Pilots vs NAU gameday thread
That would be the won (pun intended).

anybody know what the melee was about after the match??? campus security, police cars, ambulances, & fire trucks...
We were walking across the field when it sounded like a loud crash and then a girl was screaming. Everyone around us stopped and were looking back over there. I was with two doctors who were wondering if they should walk back over but there was already plenty of action over there already. It was kind of creepy. Earlier this year we were sad to see a young man on a motorcycle get hit back in the neighborhood. We heard he passed away. Soccer post matches can be pretty crazy. Be careful out there!

Sorry, I thought you guys were talking about her goal. I was probably too busy taking picture to really notice the shot you guys were talking about, but maybe it was this one? It certainly looks like a rocket from the pictures anyway...

you notice how you can see the same blue panel on the ball in each shot... that was a screaming knuckler.

Love the action shots! Thanks to all who post photos. As Pee-Wee Herman used to say, "Take a picture -- it'll last longer."

Re: Pilots vs NAU gameday thread
I would like to be able to watch this game. I live out of state, and am not able to see the game. I do not have the Comcast sportsnet northwest channel on DirecTV at home.
If someone could make a copy of this game on DVD or VHS, then that would be greatly appreciated. I would certainly pay for it, and it would be a more than fair profit for you as well to compensate for your time.
I am also interesed in seeing the UP vs. Texas game as well, that is being played today. I would gladly pay for a copy of that game as well... either DVD or VHS.
If you're interested in helping out, and talking about price compensation for the recording, then you can e-mail me at ... wpsmovement@yahoo.com
You can also reply to this thread as well.
Thank you. :-)
*note* - sorry about the post in multiple threads. I'm anxious to see UP in these games. Thank you.

Re: Pilots vs NAU gameday thread
Kassie may carry on the wild, uptempo Megan R-type energy next year. Has anyone else noticed the two of them doing an air guitar (Megan) and air drums (Kassie) gig right before kickoff? Just a little bit crazy and loose is a great way to start a game.

Yeah I notice Megan doing the air guitar at the USD game and guess what was playing on the USD PA. CRAZY TRAIN. I couldn't believe it. Is there some kind of universal sports CD all the teams use?

Re: Pilots vs NAU gameday thread
All the freshman recruited this season have shown that they belong here -- bright lights already shining or awaiting their chance. What an adventure for them. I'm glad to be along vicariously for their ride.

I wonder if the folks who voted for the 2008 freshmen incoming class of the year would like to change the ranking.

If any one of you has been corresponding with Robert Ziegler, maybe that's something he would do. Various publications rank incoming frosh classes before the season begins. It would be great to see one rank the classes after the season has been completed.
