Our Winning Ways
With 3 starters (Michelle, Elli, Keelin) off with the U20's and 2 starters (Rachel, Kendra) sidelined with injuries, it is great to see our winning ways intact by the remaining players elevating their game, taking on other roles, and playing other positions. Also, it speaks highly of our head coach, the coaching staff, the trainers, the athletic program staff, and of couse us the fans. Please DON'T call me crazy, but I can see us winning it all. GO UP!

Re: Our Winning Ways
I agree, reveler. "Our Winning Ways" are really something to behold.
Technically, I have questions about our ability to win it all. However, after seeing the "Pilot Magic" in person this last weekend, (my last game in attendance being the loss to UCLA in the season's 2nd match), I now believe anything is possible with this team.
Since I saw that loss in the 2nd match of the season, we have won an all-time school record 18 matches in a row. Really quite unbelievable. Of ALL the great Pilots teams over the years, including the two championship teams, no team ever won as many as 18 games in a row. Until now.
Megan is making Marta-like moves with the ball. Sophie is determined to score goals no matter what. We have a solid defense and great GK. Our head coach is so laid back and confident it's ridiculous.
Call me crazy, too, reveler. But I'm having a hard time visualizing this team losing to anyone! Sure, I have my doubts as I have voiced all season long. But my doubts right now are being crushed by this magical team and coaching staff, and I see bright lights at the end of the tunnel. Very bright...
GO PILOTS!!!
