For two of Oregon's elite athletes, the accolades just keep on coming. As reported by Sheldon Shealer of ESPNRISE.com, Lincoln's Kendall Johnson made the 2008 Fall High School Girls' Soccer All-America First Team and Jesuit's Sarah Bridges made second team.
Johnson is the two-time Class 6A Player of the Year, and helped lead Lincoln to back-to-back state championships (2008's by way of a 1-0 victory over Westview), a No. 4 national ESPN RISE FAB 50 ranking, and an undefeated record as well. Johnson has committed to the University of Portland. (Watch an early season video spotlight where she talks about her decision).
Bridges, only a junior, earned a spot on the Class 6A All-State First Team and helped lead Jesuit to a 14-1-2 record.
