Question...
Where does this site state how many posts you need to change your status from recruit to bench warmer, first of the bench, All-WCC, etc?? Thanks for your response.

Re: Question...
I think I got my promotion to first off the bench at five hundred. There must be something between Geezers All Amercian and that but I have yet to see it. I think you top out at 1,000 posts. In between would logically be starter. But Geezer is sort of like Wilt Chamberlain no one will ever reach his record. Not with the same quality posts anyway. Forget what I just said you can look it up from the home page look for a link to overall top posters and you will see the names. clink on a name and you can deduct what rank you get at about a certain point. Hopes this helps.
Aw the heck with it.

Re: Question...
Okay, thanks. Yeah, the only way I've been able to approximate it has been by clicking other posters' profiles. If it doesn't exist yet, it would be nice to have a little chart somewhere with the parameters set out. Call me crazy.

Re: Question...
Well, it just takes bribes to the admins to get your status elevated....
Or, just post as follows:

Pilot Nation Regular, 300-499
First Man Off The Bench, 500-749
Starter, 750-999
Playmaker, 1,000-1,499
All WCC, 1,500-1,999
All-American, 2,000-2,999
Draft Pick, 3,000-3,999
King of the Board, 4,000-4,999
Pilot Nation Legend, 5,000+

Re: Question...
Thankyou. So, Purplegeezer is actually less than half way to Legend status unless he uses the bribery factor. Geez, 5000+ posts. That's enough to make a young guy get carpal tunnel...

Re: Question...
Man, 70 more posts to get off the bench. There should be a special handicap category for those (few) of us who don't post 24/7 during soccer season.

Maybe they could add fly fishing as an official UP sport.

How about that peacock hurl? Do you like the flashabou or the rabbit fur? Weight forward, double taper or sink tip? Up eye or down eye?

Re: Question...
I'm worried. I just noticed PilotNut is only 84 posts away from stealing all my Pliny from out of the TPC clubroom refrigerator when he gets a key to the door.
GAHHH!

In that case, PNut still owes me a beer... It looks like my owed beer might just have to be upgraded a bit...

I just had a couple pints of Pliny off the tap last weekend, and I do love me some imperial IPA... haha that might be a very good plan indeed

Maybe they should call it a "tap" pick instead.

Re: Question...
Hmmm, I dont know.... is it possible that it is just the delayed delivery of an e-mail notice from a previous message?
Let me know if it happens again, or if anyone else has had the same thing happen...
