Schedule Question

So I was just looking at the schedule and noticed something that I thought was odd. I know that Gonzaga is next week, but the week after is USF and SMC. Last week SMC was paired up with USD, do they normally switch traveling partners? This seems odd to me, or maybe I am just misremembering...

Yeah, they usually don't switch... I think it has something to do with TV games and maybe SMC's Bracket Buster... I really don't know. I did hear that the Santa Clara coaching staff tried to change the way the Bay Area teams rotate with San Diego... maybe that had something to do with it?

I asked the same question, and got a similar answer: TV, and SCU wanting to change things up a bit. This usually wouldnt be much of a deal, but with the potential return of Mills at the end of the season (when we would normally play SMC again), there is certainly a difference...
