Tune in to 95.5 The Game tonight after the Blazer game... apparently they will be talking about the Pilots on their college basketball show.

Actually, I would recommend tuning in to sports talk radio this week... the Gonzaga game has some legitimate buzz now, so I bet/hope some people might be talking about it.

Jammin 95.5 has a college basketball show? Let me guess, co-hosted by John Canzano and Chuck Culpepper.

Ha ha ha... oh man, you have been out of Portland too long.

107.5 The Buzz / Movin' 107.5 is now Jammin 107.5, and Jammin 95.5 is now 95.5 The Game, 24-7 sports radio. The rolled all of KXL 750's programming onto it, so they have the Blazers, the Ducks, and the Seahawks. And they are affiliated with Fox Sports Radio.

I'm not sure who their college show is hosted by... maybe their morning guys Chad Doing or Gavin Dawson?

Why didn't they just make 107.5 the sports radio station? I guess it was someone smarter than me doing the logistics.

Because Paul Allen owns both 750 and 95.5. Remember the story about how Jammin 95 came into existence? Some Blazers players were complaining that there wasn't a rap station in Portland for them to listen to in the weight room, so Paul Allen just went ahead and bought a new station.

Sigh... I wish I had money like Paul Allen.

You forgot they got Jim Rome back in Portland. He's a polarizing figure, but I've always thought he was hilarious.

Anyone notice the 107.5 banner in the Chiles Center the last two games?

I know that this is slightly off topic; but, I really think that stations on FM are going to gradually move toward talk. I think it is inevitable simply because of the advent of Ipods and other MP3 players. There's really no need to listen to music on the radio anymore. . .

If the Phone providers and recording Studios have their way, the next move will be subscription music over the cell system.

They have better control than with Ipod music.
