Last nite at the soccor game Buzz Stroud told several of us that Rachel had all that was required to apply for and receive another year. Hope that it all works out in that way.[b]

Of course Rachael did get another year, but again a knee injury ended her playing days on The Bluff...

And I'll always remember the classy move of bringing her on wounded with a few minutes remaining in the Santa Clara home match at the end of that season, with Garrett talking to Jerry Smith who presumably agreed to have his players not tackle her physically. Great way to end her Pilot career.

Rachel mentioned when they moved her up top in the Spring of 2006. If memory serves, she got a hat trick on Ohio State in the first outing in April. It was very exciting, because we had gotten to see Megan perform so well the previous season and now Rachel jumped into that spotlight. Great memories and special players!
