Portland finishes with the top RPI of Oregon teams...
This is how the RPI was at the end of regular season play before conference tourneys or post-season play:
Portland: 117
PSU: 119
OSU: 123
Oregon: 163
In a perfect world, I'd love to see us have a top 64 RPI next season. All the same, I think that Rev could mention this for in state recruiting... We're becoming the little engine that could...

That's very cool... and I think we would all like another go at both UO and PSU. Heck, and I would have love to play OSU this year... I hope they are back on the schedule next year...
UO and OSU still have 2 games left vs. USC and UCLA. If OSU can knock off UCLA, their RPI would likely jump over ours...
But can I mention how nice it is to see UP and PSU above UO and OSU?!

This is a nice accomplishment. I am a bit of a woulda/coulda/shoulda guy, and know that some things were left on the table this year. But I join PN in celebrating what a good season this was!
To see the same result next year will mean a special season, because I think our neighbors will be better next year. But so should we.

No doubt.
Why go south when the best basketball is here in the City of Portland?

I think if they played again, UP would beat PSU, but I'd be wary of either the Pilots or Vikings playing the Beavers at this point.
