iPhone vs. Blackberry Storm

The time has finally come to upgrade to a new phone... does anyone have any thoughts on the new-ish Blackberry Storm?

All things being equal, I would like to stay with Verizon, which has the Storm... but the iPhone seems hard to beat.

I havent really researched the calling plan prices yet, either...

I don't have one, but I haven't heard a single person happy with the Storm. Its touch interface can be slow, it turns off in your pocket and or calls people at random frequently, and the click screen feature definitely doesn't seem designed for the long haul. I flat out wouldn't go through a first generation phone by anyone, especially touch screens... I'd wait for later generations that fix all the unforseen bugs..

As far as phones go the iPhone is a great device, but again, you have to deal with the 80+ for the full data plan and in my experience, Verizon's service is far superior to AT&T....

Agreed on the coverage/service. ive always had Verizon and have no complaints with them at all...

The clicking screen on the Storm seems really cool, but I agree that it seems like it could break really easily. I guess I am asking if there is anyone out there who would endorse the Storm? Or even the regular Blackberry devices over the iPhone?

I have a Blackberry Curve. Love it. Love it a lot.

I have a lot of friends with the iPhone who also love it. But I still love my Blackberry. I think when I upgrade, I'll stick with the Blackberry.

Here's one thing that may influence your decision. The NCAA put out a release today that it is providing tournament highlight coverage for the iphone.
