had 27 points last night in St Marys win over Wazzu. Hmm, how many pundits have I heard say "they're not the same team" as a rationale for snubbing the Gales in the past four days? They looked OK last night to me. I wonder if the NIT would have picked us had the Gaels gone to the NCAA's. Probably not, but just wondering...
Speaking of the NIT, I'm very impressed with the quality of the field this year. It's the first time in quite a long time that I remember this many quality teams in the NIT.
Anyway, I guess the Pilots just need to focus on going as far as we can in the CBI. It will definitely be great experience for these guys to play some road games in tournament action, in a pressured evironment. They will grow from that experience and it should benefit the team in 2009-010. Hopefully we can keep it going for a few more games and maybe even catch lightning in a bottle.
GO PILOTS!!!

I'm impressed with the NIT field this year too. One thing you have to say on the behalf of the NCAA is that they definitely care about teams over players when they make their selections...otherwise Mills, Curry, and Meeks would be in. As it is, at least we get to see Davidson vs. SMC in the NIT.

Re: Patty Mills
I honestly hope Patty gives it to Curry. I'm a Patty Mills fan and hope he has a few SportsCenter moments on Curry.
Where is the game getting played?

Don't mean to sound like a debbie downer, but, it's the CIT tourney. I believe the Beaver's are in the CBI tourney. I don't think your eligible for the tourney were in unless U have a winning record. Our tourney look's like Mid-Major team dominated one, good recognition for us to see where we stand on Mid Major level going into next year.
