Story on Eric Waterford
http://www.modbee.com/sports/story/634560.html
Found this story on Eric Waterford via ESPN.com. Its definitely an interesting journey for him. I think he shows a lot of promise and it could be due to running around the country. Probably gives him a little maturity beyond his age.

Nice article. That's cool that he gets a chance to play near home...

This is about PHIL Waterford
Sorry, this is not about Eric, but about his dad, Phil. For those of you who know Phil, this just Phil being Phil … a kind and big-hearted man.
Read the rest of the story here:http://www.mantecabulletin.com/section/1/article/47531/Act of kindness stuns victims of vandalism.
Shock and sadness over having their small sports car’s interior egged last week turned to joy when Manteca Ford dealership owner Phil Waterford stepped up to the plate making seniors John and Deborah Hale speechless with his gift of cash and a replacement vehicle

Eric Signs
It's finally official, Eric signs...........
Already fluent in Spanish, it's my bet that Eric becomes an instant crowd favorite.
Congratulations, Eric. It's officially official. Signed my contract to play Professional basketball for Soles de Mexicali in Mexico's top league!

Eric hurt, again!
I've got to correct what I wrote............contrary to what his dad told me, Erick is not even conversationally fluent en Espanol, and is trying to get by on “guessturing” to communicate.DoubleDipper wrote:It's finally official, Eric signs...........Congratulations, Eric. It's officially official. From the “oh no, not again” category….our man Eric has again hurt his knee and his future with his team, now in training camp, is uncertain while he gets it evaluated.
Jeez, the guy can’t catch a break!
