Site Problems
FYI, it looks like the underlying ForuMotion site is experiencing technical difficulties, and we cannot access Pilot Nation via www.PilotNation.net... instead, only from the "old" address, www.pilotfans.forumotion.com... it seems several sites lost their domain names Thursday night. Hopefully this resolves itself soon... stay tuned for details.
Thanks!

Re: Site Problems
Everything appears to have returned to normal, thankfully... the ForuMotion folks have no idea what occured either, but it wasn't just our site.
Maybe it was the same person who hacked the White House computers...?!

Well The Chollima did just qualify for their first World Cup in over 40 years, so stealing Pilot secrets couldn't hurt...

Re: Site Problems
The Forumotion site has been undergoing infrastructure maintenance and upgrades over the past couple weeks, so I apologize for any slow responses you are experiencing or any error/"maintenance in progress" messages you might be receiving... it looks like the last round is scheduled for the next couple days, so performance should improve soon. Thanks!

Re: Site Problems
Again, the whole Forumotion system went down on Tuesday night without warning. My apologies...
Sorry for the inconvenience (again)... but they did give all their sites a credit to keep advertisements off for a bit longer... so at least that is something...
For those that are interested, here is what has happened the past month or so (a note from ForuMotion dated 10/16/09):
Well, they did give us a gift in a credit to our account, so that was nice... fast forward to last night:

Dear users,
We have had for some time, downtime and slowdown due mainly to a new provider for our servers. This service, that we had been advised by top IBM engineers, was meant to optimize and anticipate the traffic increase on your forums and our servers.
We bitterly regret that provider choice which currently and after several days of research and development, was unable to provide a stable solution. Therefore, we decided to leave the service to join back to our previous provider. This change will take place within hours and we are confident about the result. These new servers are ultra-efficient and will provide you with what we've promised : faster forums, more efficient, 99.9% uptime and enhanced security for your data.
During this migration, your forums will suffer delays. Do not worry, your forums do not risk anything, this maneuver is controlled and your forums should regain their vitality very quickly.
We are still sorry for the inconvenience caused, we fully understand the bitterness generated by such issues.
Therefore, as soon as the stabilization of your forums on the new servers will be established, we will make a gift to all our users and forums. o)
Best regards,
Forumotion Team.

Forumotion is doing some little over view of the updates to see if there is any new bugs/glitches that needs fixing cause they want these updates to be bug free and from what Typlo is telling us they are going to release them real quick.
