Enyeart National, WCC POW; 4th On All-Time Points List
Michelle Enyeart was named the Top Drawer National Player of the Week (for the second time this year) and the WCC Player of the Week after her three goal, three assist performance during the two wins this weekend.
And even more impressive... check out this stat:
Think about that for a second. Michelle Enyeart has tallied more points for the Pilots than any player except for the Holy Trinity of former Pilots. I think sometimes we forget how special of a talent she is... kudos to Michelle!!!!!!
And even more impressive... check out this stat:
She has 11 goals and a team-high 11 assists on the season and moved into fourth place on the UP career points list (131) trailing only Christine Sinclair, Tiffeny Milbrett and Shannon MacMillan.

Stonehouse, to add to your kudos, she has done this despite only starting 7 games and playing in 13 total games last season, averaging only 61 mins per appearance, that compared to 22 games played and started by Foxhoven.

Re: Enyeart National, WCC POW; 4th On All-Time Points List
Kudos to Michelle Enyeart in her senior season as she builds some great career stats.
Since the comparison to Danielle Foxhoven is made above, here are their freshman season stats from 2006 (Enyeart) and 2008 (Foxhoven):
Michelle:
Games Played: 23 Games Started: 15 Mins: 1546 Goals: 16 Assists: 6 Shots: 69 Shots on Goal: 43 SOG%: 62.3%
Danielle:
GP: 22 GS: 22 Mins: 1488 Goals: 16 Assists: 6 Shots: 59 SOG: 37 SOG%: 62.7%
Two great first years and remarkably similar stats. Both very good players: one is finishing her career. One is in the middle.

The article on Michelle's honors mentions a noon kickoff for the men's match this weekend. That doesn't square with the schedules posted on the Men's and women's site. Should it be "women" in the article?

And remember, she played midfield for at least seven games at the start of this season and left wing last years. One wonders what her stats would be if she had been playing forward all that time.

On the Sunday kickoff, I thought the same thing at first. After rechecking the schedules and re-reading the story, the lady's game does start at noon. A bit of confusion for sure. Can hardly wait for noon Sunday!

Inheriting the No 12 jersey from Sinclair was no curse for Enyeart. I hope she goes far after college -- Olympics, World Cup, pro league the whole deal. Bravo to one of the all-time greats!

So, I guess if we would have scored 7 less goals Michelle might have been player of the week instead...
