Just saw on rivals.com, updated today that keith Shamburger has a verbal to come to UP. That would be a big pick up for Rev's recruiting and next year. Can anyone confirm this status? Chances it will come through?

5-foot-11 Keith Shamburger verbally paired up with the University of Portland last spring. But he recently decided that, while still committed to the Pilots, he wanted to wait until the spring signing period before affixing his name to an official letter-of-intent. That didn't square with the Portland coaching staff who wanted Shamburger to sign in November so the engagement was called off.

Yawn a rumor that has floated around the program for many months........there are academic standards to enter UP and a little birdie told me some people just don't meet those.

There is always hope, the Sham man would be a great addition if he's ABLE to sign with UP in the spring.
