WCC Standings

WCC standings as of 10/28/09:
Obviously, the WCC championship is riding on Sunday's nationally televised game, UP @ SCU (Fox Soccer Channel, 2pm, 11/1/09). A UP win @ SCU, and a GU win @ USD seals the WCC championship for us... (but obviously we also need the win at home vs. USD for seeding purposes).

It won't be settled until the following week even if we win at SCU.
USD could beat us and would hold the head to head tiebreaker.
Not likely, but mathematically possible.
If they beat us at home on Senior day on National TV they will have earned it.
But for now, SCU is the one we need.

But if we win *and* GU beats USD, they can't tie us even by winning the following week.

If Portland wins, even a USD-GU draw will be enough as it would leave USD 5 points back with one match left.
Anyway.....one game at a time. I wouldn't even worry about what other teams do.
