I stumbled upon this article today. It's almost exactly 2 years old and it was written when we signed Nem. The author had encouraging things to say about the future of the team:

It's a process to raise the program to a level of consistent competitiveness, and the most important thing the UP program needs after several years of disappointment and instability is a good, solid foundation on which to build. And when I look at the players that have been brought in and start thinking about what could be a few years from now, I get pretty darn excited.

Somebody knew what they were talking about when they wrote this 2 years ago.
