Line-Up Discussion
Meant to bring something up after watching the EWU game but forgot.
What did you guys think about Ito and Campbell playing minutes together? There were a couple of stretches during that game where they were together, and I'm not sure if I'm crazy about it. The two also played together during the exhibition games, though I didn't really make much of it since Reveno was starting all the seniors and was monkeying with the line-ups a ton.
I bring it up because BJ didn't see any court time at all in the game. Maybe he was hurt and I just don't know about it, but I like to see him see at least some time as a change of pace for us - I like his athleticism and I thought he looked good during pre-season play. He stepped up at the end of last season and seemingly earned himself a role... but maybe Mitrovic has simply outplayed him during the Fall (Nem got 4 minutes).
I like Ito and it really does look like he has finally regained his stroke (he's hit threes in both exhibitions and the EWU game)... I'm happy to see him as the back-up PG ahead of Waterford. Not because I don't like Waterford - I'm just happy for Taishi. But do we really need TJ and Taishi on the floor at the same time? I would rather have Raivio or Jared at the two and Ethan/BJ/Nem at the three.
But what do I know... there's a reason I'm winless as a D1 coach!

Re: Line-Up Discussion
I heard that BJ didn't even travel with the team to Cheney, for undisclosed reasons. I hope everything is alright for him. I definitely like his athleticism and what he brings to the team.

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!
Oh man, I'm embarassed... I remember someone mentioning earlier about Porter not travelling, but somehow I thought it was in reference to Tajuan Porter of Oregon. Silly, silly, silly...

Re: Line-Up Discussion
Yes, something about a personal leave. I hope everything works out for him, and we see him back soon.
TJ and Ito were on the floor at the same time on Saturday; I was a bit unsure of that, myself... but if it gets TJ more looks, so be it. I dont recall if any of TJ's shots were during that time, however.
We were out of synch on offense Saturday. I would really like to see us come out strong tonight and score a lot of points... make SU try to keep up.

Well to be honest, I actually thought they were talking about Black Butte.
