Oregon Sports Awards awards.

The Oregon Sports awards are soon, and Michelle is one of the four finalists for the Bill Hayward award, which for you out-of-towners is for the best amateur athlete in the state for 2009. You have to be either from Oregon or play for an Oregon school.

There are several Pilots on the ballot for this year’s The Oregon Sports Awards that will be presented on February 10.

Erik Spoelstra shared the Slats Gill Sportsperson of the Year award with Eagles' coach Chip Kelly at the Oregon Sports Award banquet at Nike HQ last night.

Megan Rapinoe shared the Harry Glickman Professional Athlete of the Year award with fellow gold medal-winning Olympian Ashton Eaton (decathlon).
