Larry Williams on BFT *TODAY* at 4:20pm
Hot off the press: UP Athletic Director Larry Williams will be on Canzano’s Bald Faced Truth radio program today at 4:20pm to discuss Coach Rev and other things. BFT airs on 95.5 fm The Game in Portland. Live audio streaming is available on their site here (click on "Listen Live" near the top of the page under the pictures of the hosts).
Interesting.... I for one will be glued to the radio.

“We think Coach Rev is a great coach and we hope he’s our coach here for a long time,” Portland athletic director Larry Williams said. “I think the record speaks for itself in what he’s done here.”

Looks like the time has been pushed back 10 minutes, to 4:30pm.

Re: Larry Williams on BFT *TODAY* at 4:20pm
Nothing much to report from the interview, other than LW confirming that he thinks the world of Rev, and hopes that he is the coach here for a "really long time"...
Canzano pushed LW a bit on what, if any contingency plans are in place... LW did state that it would be "irresponsible for him not to"... and then Canzano made a plug for Blazer's assistant Dean Demopoulis as a candidate should Rev leave.
I didnt really get anything either way on this, other than confirming that BSU contacted LW to ask permission to interview Rev...

Maybe I'm just a pessimist, but the tone of the conversation didn't sound the Pilots would be able to keep Rev long term. We'll see, I hope I'm wrong.

Dean Demopolis? aka the least favorite Blazer assistant out of any amongst the players? (Dean has a reputation as kind of a "yeller" and I don't know as entertaining as that may be to watch on TV, I prefer the teacher approach Rev uses to the taskmaster ANY day...) Thanks John, but no thanks, I'd much rather take one of our own guys if it's an option...

You now, the last Trailblazer hire worked out so well for us. Actually, the last two, sort of.
