I do not know whether this has been posted here or on the OregonLive forum, but it appears that Dennis Dixon, the quarterback for the Ducks, is the nephew of former Pilot point guard Donald Dixon, who still lives in Portland, although originally from Oakland from whence his nephew Dennis hales. I was reading an article in the ESPN magazine which mentioned Donald--I assume it is one and the same person, but I cannot be sure. If true, it is indeed a small world. It also suggests that that family is quite athletic . . .interesting . . .
