Good news re: Portland Rain

I did find some good news in women's soccer today:

2010 Season Opener this Saturday 3pm at Oregon Episcopal School!

The BSC Portland Rain will be taking on Brandi Chastain and the California Storm in their first game of this years WPSL campaign. Last year the ladies finished 4th in the Pacific Coast North Division and this year boast a roster of talented local players.

Come out and support the team. Tickets for the match are $7 with a 6 game season ticket pass available for $30. Players will be selling the season passes to help cover their fees for the season.

Also: the first 100 kids under the age of 12 will receive a free Portland Rain t-shirt.

If you were inclined you could go to this one and the Boca match at PGE that night with time for a pint in between.
