Here's the US roster: http://www.ussoccer.com/Teams/US-Men/Rosters/100804-MNT-BRA.aspx
The game is on ESPN2.
Mexico vs. Spain: 1 pm Univision PST on August 11th...
Both should be great games. This is just what I've been salivating for with the end of the World Cup. Cherondolo is on the US roster, and Javier Hernandez, "El Chicharito," continues to tear up the highlight reels for Manchester United. I wonder if he'll be there or stay with Man U...

He's really set to come into his prime between now, and the next Cup. I wish I could say the US has a finisher of that quality beyond Donovan's talent... Maybe someone will emerge...

FIFA has the date set aside for friends, so clubs have to let players go unless they are hurt.
The only thing is, they are only obligated to release players for the one date and travel.
It looked to me like what the USA needs is another quality and healthy central defender. We can score on people, we just have to stop giving up goals in the first five minutes.

Yes, good point. In a perfect world, I'd love to have a quality central defender as well as a world class finisher for the tighter games. I think Davies' scheme also needs some work. I think he pushed the outside fullbacks a little bit too far forward at times.
