Pilot Men vs. UNM 9/12
The Pilot men defeated a ranked team on the road today, coming from behind to win at New Mexico for the second time in nine months. Game recap:

While we did not win the tourney based upon goal differential, we might move up a notch or two in the upcoming rankings after drawing Evansville on Friday (who received votes). On to Washington at Merlo this Saturday!

The guys are undefeated at 2-2-0 (or 2-0-2).
Brent Richards, a fantastic goalscorer and the MVP of the Timbers U-23s, is a Husky so I look forward to seeing him again.

Quality win for the Pilots. always good to knock off a ranked team in their house two years in a row. we must like playing on dried grass clumps.
I lok forward to seing Richards play also, but I look MORE forward to beating the Huskies.

Well, yes, I did have some mixed feelings about the OSU game, too, because they have a lot of Timbers.Geezaldinho wrote:Quality win for the Pilots. always good to knock off a ranked team in their house two years in a row. we must like playing on dried grass clumps.

It takes more than one player to beat the Pilots, though.
