pre nats 2010
Pilots are running pre nats tomorrow in the "White" race. Only team ranked ahead of us are those dirty Buffs from Boulder. Would be nice to knock them off, as I don't think any Pilot team has ever beaten UC Boulder. Good luck young men!

Men finish 4th.

(gotta download the pdf sorry)
Just 6 points off CU! Dang. Take note of future conference member BYU in there at 2nd also. Dunbar and Kipchumba with an awesome 4th and 8th place. 5th man spot killing us, we could have beat CU and BYU with just 10 fewer points.

Not sure why Osoro didn't run... assuming he finishes in the Top 20, we would have won the race.
But HUGE ups to Christmas - if he and Malde can be that strong as a 4 and 5 to Dunbar, Kipchumba, and Osoro... we could be a podium team for sure.

Re: pre nats 2010
Throw in the results from both races and it looks like we have the fourth best overall time. I know that is not how XC is scored, but that still seems pretty good to me. Also liking how well we finished missing one of our top 3 runners. Really looking forward to how we do at Nationals this year.
Also, Stanford is pretty good.

Has this Christmas guy done much before? I don't remember hearing about him. I love seeing random guys step up.

I seem to remember him making a trip from Rhode Island to Aspen to return a left behind briefcase.

Re: pre nats 2010
Does anyone know what happened to Osoro? I know he has had some injury problems before. Is he out for the season? If he can be healthy at regionals/nationals, then we could very well be a top-five team as Christmas seems to be improving each week and looks like he can pair with Malde to be an effective 4/5 combo. Without Osoro, we'll finish roughly where we did last year.
