UP v. USF
UP and USF are tied about halfway through the first half 1:1.
The UP goal was Ryan luke with a nice upperV call

UP scored again on a PK by VanShaik after a takedown in the box on a jailbreak.
The announcer was funny.
the goal was followed by a long description of each of the teams' Nike uniforms.

there was a two man ref crew for a while. not sure why.It was a definite takedown. thought the guy might have flopped a little

That is the great Ryan McCrary!!! Not gonna lie... I've gone karaoke-ing with Ryan McCrary before. At the Alibi. It was epic.
Awesome that he gave a PilotNation shout out!
2-1 UP at the half.

2-2 tie. It's over.
Very disappointing result. Puts us behind LMU again, and hurts our RPI. Rats.

The final is 2-2
UP is now 8-2-5
It could have been worse. We got outplayed for stretches.

Pilots 2 USF 2
Another bright spot for the men is this point moves them into sole possession of first place at 17 points, one point ahead of LMU and Santa Clara, depending on what happens Sunday, as the Pilot Men travel to Moraga for a 1pm start and LMU hosts Santa Clara, starting at 2:30.
After you watch the Women against USF as you follow the Live stats for the the Men in Moraga, race to a computer or switch your video playing device to here to watch LMU-SCU.
This conference season continues to be interesting over the weeks, so stay alert, Pilot Fans!

Re: UP v. USF
I am not sure what was worse - the video quality, the audio (not sure it qualified as play by play) or the result. Pilots didn't generate many chances and allowed way to many; so may have been lucky to get the draw. Hopefully the SMC game on Sunday is better. What was the story with the 2 refs in the first half?

Re: UP v. USF
apparently the field ref was stuck in a traffic jam and finally resorted to mapquest or googlemaps to find another way to the school. he got there just after a goal was scored...I can't remember which one.
Here's hoping our guys do a better job tomorrow.

He came on the field right after UP's penalty kick call and subsequent goal, a fact commented on by the announcer with chagrin.
