Since that article was penned, she was again named a first team All American by the NSCAA, the only soccer player to repeat.

Congrats to her.

What an outstanding young woman. She exemplifies "student-athlete" at a time when that term is otherwise losing its meaning in many sports and places. The UP women play great socccer, but as a fan I also take much pride in the off-field scholarship, service, and leadership accomplishments of Jessica and her teammates
