It's a Trap!
Nevada comes to town Monday evening. They are only 3 - 9, with wins over Montana and PSU. They've lost to some good teams (UW, UNLV), some mid-level teams (Pacific, Geo Washington, Houston, ASU) and some others I can't categerize (So. Dakota St, Pepperdine, Boston U). So they've had a relatively challenging schedule. They lost two stars to the NBA (Luke Babbitt & Armon Johnson). They are starting some freshmen, and they are integrating two transfer players into their line-up, one from Indiana and one from Duke. That sounds like a team that will be getting better as the year progresses. Let's hope a short break and Christmas feasts don't lull our Pilots into complacency.

SD State and BU are about the same level as George Washington. Pepperdine is not so good. Pomeroy has their schedule as 60th strongest (Portland's is 52).
The key here for the Pilots is to play defense as they have been all season. They should be able to force a few more turnovers than they have been. Nevada also does not shoot as high a percentage as the Pilots.
