Nem is POW
UP is walking away with the WCC POW awards this year. This time it's Nemanja Mitrovic. Soon everyone will know how to spell his name. Maybe even me.
And #3 in the nation for 3's...

Nemanja Mitrovic, Portland, Junior, Guard
Nemanja Mitrovic scored a career-high 22 points on just nine shot attempts in leading the Pilots to an 88-79 win over Boise State on Wednesday. Mitrovic went 7-for-9 from the field, including a perfect 5-of-5 from three-point range. He also made all three of his free throw attempts, grabbed three rebounds and added an assist in 35 minutes of action. After the Broncos cut the deficit to three points late in regulation, Mitrovic drilled consecutive three-pointers (including one to beat the shot clock) to give Portland separation and ice the game. The Toronto native is now 37-for-69 (.536) from three-point range this season which is good for No. 3 nationally in three-point percentage according to the NCAA (min. 2.5 made per game).

Re: Nem is POW
How cool is it to see Nem develop like this? We could see the talent in him early on... and given the chance to step up (Nik's injury last year), he has big time! SWEET!
