With the win in Spokane, the #24 Gaels move to 6-0 in WCC play, and GU falls to 3-3, tied with the Pilots for 4th place.

Have we finally witnessed the changing of the guard at the top of the WCC? Of course, SMC will be 6-1 after Saturday, but...

If nothing else, it is notable that GU lost a home WCC game for just the 2nd time in 7 years. Shocked

Yeah, advice to Pilots: guard him! The shot around Sacre to win the game was ridiculous.

Urika and I (from the Gael board) will be making the drive down from Seattle to UoP this Saturday...really looking forward to it! Been making the trip now for the last few years...needless to day, Portland is a tough Gael road win! Last year when Omar fouled out in OT was not pretty! We're pumped for this game....how can we not be? Smile

And guard Mickey? Some of those 3 point shots tonight in Spokanistan were made from Moraga! Go Gaels! See you purple fans this weekend!

I sure thought it was great. Smile

The shot around Sacre was as clutch as they come. To pull that off in that building after so many years of frustration (for all of us) was sweet indeed.

Now if we could just arrange for a pick-up game of H-O-R-S-E between Stohl and McConnell in Howard Hall . . . that is something I would pay to see.

Yes Yes YES! I'm stoked for Saturday. St. Mary's looks great this year, hopefully we can continue to defend our home winning streak.

I'll bring the noise Saturday. Smile rimshot

This makes our game against #24 SMC even bigger. We've got a shot to become one of the most dominant home teams in the WCC if we continue our streak in the Chiles...

How in the world is Sacre supposed to guard McConnell? The center guards Mickey for the last shot of the game? I hope Gonzaga uses that defense on us. I want Sacre to guard Stohl...

One more reason for Rev to run more screens for our shooters...

Funny, I always figured when we tied the Bulldogs in the standings after 6 games I'd be happier about it. Suspect
