This was all a matter of "when" rather than "if" but here's the blurb to go along with the announcement:

Well I suppose if she keeps being so selfish by still playing we can't wait the 3 years before she can go in the room at Chiles. I mean come on Tiff, get it together...

Re: Milbrett to WCC Hall of Fame
That reminds me...It's the "Hall of Fame Room," so it's logical to put the plaques there, but how many fans actually go in there or pay attention to the walls? Couldn't there be another place to at least list the names?

Yeah, I've always wondered if that kind of hole in the wall room was the best way to honor Pilots of yore...

I don't know how to spell the Donald Duck quack sputter.
UP could induct her if they wanted. they inducted Benedetti in the first year of the HOF (94) and he was a player for the Colorado Foxes that year. He played for the Timbers until 2005.
And Shannon? she's been retired since about 2002-3 they should have inducted her in 2005.
When are the 2002 - 2005 national championship teams going to get in?

Re: Milbrett to WCC Hall of Fame

Don't get ahead of yourself, I'm sure there is a more deserving team handball squad from the 70s....

Yeah!!!! Well, obviously with my pic, you guys know I'm a fan. The 1996 Olympics were really epic if you were a UP women's soccer fan with her contributions to the team and MacMillan as well. She's truly one of the pioneers of the women's program, leading us to our first final 4. Great player, great person.

Agreed. She'll always be a favorite player for me as a classmate, and the first time we were televised as a women's program in the Final 4 she really had a great day. As Clive used to say, players like Tiff and MacMillan chose to go to UP when it wasn't a cool thing to do as a soccer player yet. They were our program changers. I'll never forget her streaking runs in those Final 4s.
Here's a great interview that I just found:
