The Bellagio probably would have taken even more of my money. I did stop by UP's suite for a while, but kept my gambling to the $5-10 tables of the Orleans.

No, way better though, NASCAR fans...I shouldn't make fun though. I was sitting 17 rows up directly across from Pit Row on Sunday afternoon after the girls game. Showed up at about lap 94.

From the official UH website: http://hawaiiathletics.com/news/2011/3/9/MBB_0309112329.aspx
Tuesday March 15th at 7PM local time. I believe that this would put it at a 9PM Pacific start time, as I don't think that Hawai'i observes DST.

Re: CIT
Looks like a few WCC teams will be in the CIT. From College Hotline:
A comment was also made that USF may be hosting a CIT game.Action: Santa Clara announces it will host a first-round game Tuesday (opponent: TBA) in the 24-team CollegeInsider.com Tournament.
Reaction: Yes, the Broncos had to buy the home date. (The CIT’s fee for hosting a first-round game is in the $25,000-$30,000 range). So what. They wanted to participate and couldn’t be a road team because final exams are next week. So the Broncos went to their donors and raised enough cash to satisfy the CIT’s requirement, and now they’re offering general admission tickets for $5 a pop. Nice.

Re: CIT
Pilots and the Hawaii Warriors have several common opponents: Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Boise St., UC Davis. Against those opponents, the Pilots were 5 - 0. Only one of those wins was on the road, at Idaho.
The Warriors were 4 - 4 against those opponents. They lost to Idaho twice. They won on the road at Boise St and UC Davis, but they lost at home to Boise St. They beat Utah at home, and split with Nevada.

Re: CIT
I haven't seen a bracket, but, here's the field. USF and SCU are also in this thing. It's really tough to pick a favorite in this field:

Ohio @ Marshall - T, March 15 @ 7 pm
Furman @ East Tennesse State - T, March 15 @ 7 pm

The Pilots page posted a link on facebook, we'll be able to watch the games on the interwebs:

Yep, and FREE! Basketball Christmas is upon us!!! CELEBRATE!!! (But not to vigorously, I mean it is Lent afterall.... )
And as for favorites, I would say Northern Iowa, but they don't have Pullman's own Ali Farokhmanesh anymore...

Re: CIT
I don't think there is a bracket because they don't decide each round's match-ups until the previous round is complete. As far as favorites go, I think Iona and Marshall are the two best teams in the field, although Iona has a tough road game in the first round.

Yeah, I would say that picking Northern Iowa would be a big stretch. Their current RPI (112) is lower than ours as well as lower than Valparaiso and Iona. Iona just barely missed getting to the tourney, and most everyone was picking them over St. Peters. This tourney is wide open though. It depends on who wants it the most...

Anyone hear about the situation in the CBI with the Ducks stealing a home game from Weber State? Wonder how much more they had to pay to show off their fancy new place.

Re: CIT
I think the going rate for the CBI is something in the neighborhood of $50K to host, aka pocket change for Uncle Phil...
