Could be quite the day of soccer. We have the girls game on TV at noon... then possibly the last game of the year at merlo at 3 when the guys take on santa clara.

Won't be the last game at Merlo. The gals will be playing Tennessee, or possibly Charlotte, next weekend.

I'm so sorry you misunderstood me, Geezer. By back-up, I didn't mean physically back you up. My goodness no! My days as a pugilist ended when I suffered permanent brain damage in my final bout. That was probably about 35 years ago.

What I meant was I would hold the ladder for you and then, depending on who hit the floor, I would have gotten the heck out of there! Unlike the military, I don't go back for fallen comrades. I just want to make it back to my old brown sofa, eating popcorn and drinking dark ale as I live my life through the wonderful world of
