UP Preseason update: Radio & Drum Squad on Twitter

Even though two of UP's alumnae have been performing well in a tournament over in Germany that seems to be getting a lot of press does not mean you should not be focusing on those who have not yet left the Bluff!

Senior Defender Kassi McCluskie stopped by Strong At Night (start around 33:30) after the France victory to provide some insight into ms. Rapinoe and whether she should start on Sunday.

Also the Drum Squad is now on twitter (twitter.com/PilotsDrumSquad) and has already been the subject of a Coach Reveno tweet:

Proximity to one's location is relative. The Press Box side might be near to the parking lot and most of campus, it is the far side from the Drum Squad. Since I watch from the Drum Squad Side; it is a force of habit to refer to the press box as the "far" side.

I talked with one of the Drum Squad leaders earlier and hopefully this account will allow people who do not usually stand among the Drum Squad to provide chant ideas before or during matches (if a Villan is paying attention), history on the squad or opponents and inevitably spark a fight or two with opposing fans/players.
