I don't see any discussion yet, but the Pilot men are leading (winless) Houston Baptist 3-0 up in Seattle, as things approach the 65 minute mark. Evans has two goals (incl. a PK) and an assist.

Re: Houston Baptist
Great win for the guys! This was a tough week for them, with 3 games in 6 days. Great to come out with 3 wins though, and momentum is rolling! Despite a couple bad games (score-wise at least) in the non-conference, the boys have a pretty good record and have been playing pretty well. I'm looking forward to them continuing this progress in conference!

Great work guys! When was the last team the men's team had a better record than the women's team?

I'm not sure, but i wouldn't be surprised to see the men's team end up with a better record than the women at the end of the season

Well, they had fewer losses in 1999, when they went 12-5-2 and the women went 12-7-1. they went to the tournament (lost in first round) and the women didn't.
The last time the men won the WCC was in 2002. the women came in third, but won the national championship.
The last time they finished higher than the women in the NCAA tournament was last year, when they lost in the third round, and the women lost in the second round. the women had the better record, though.

The men didn't make the playoffs last year, you're thinking about the year before when they lost in the 3rd round to Virginia. the girls lost to UCLA i believe in the quarters on the same weekend that year
