LOIs Galore
In this moment of euphoria over the women's soccer team, let's not forget that tomorrow is the beginning of the early signing period for prospective basketball student athletes. I am a little surprised that Geezer has not yet posted the history, dimensions and position of potential signees but there is time still.
I know co-Oregon 5A POY 6'7" Jake Ehlers of Corvallis is likely to sign, but is there anyone in addition to him that will pledge to the Pilots?
I recently read an old story about a Bay Area point who the Pilots were interested in and who is interested in the Pilots, but I have no idea whether that young man is still looking at the Pilots.
Go Pilots.

Re: LOIs Galore
we've got to get some real 4s. Ehlers is only 66 or 67. Coach Rev...find some 69s that can play.

I have it from a pretty reliable source that Ehlers will be it for the early signing period.
Beyond that, i think the coaches will be pretty careful. By my count they only have one more for 2012 and one for 2013. they may wait..

Re: LOIs Galore
This is the info I posted a couple of weeks ago, I'm not sure if anything has changed at all but we'll see
After doing a little research on a few sites (http://highschoolsports.oregonlive.com/recruiting/?criteria=&x=19&y=4 , ESPN) it looks like we have an offer out to Jordan Tebbutt (2012) and to Cullen Neal (2013). There is some more info on Cullen Neal here http://coast2coastrecruiting.net/tag/cullen-neal/ . It looks like we are also interested in TJ Flowers via oregonian and Dyshawn Pierre out of canada via ESPN.

Re: LOIs Galore
Congratulations and welcome Jake!
Per Rev's tweet today "Excited to announce the signing of 6-7 Senior Jake Ehlers from Corvallis, OR. Another player from Oregon who will help us reach our goals."

Re: LOIs Galore
Welcome to the program Jake! Good in state get for Coach Reveno. At 6'6" and slender Rev may have thoughts of him playing the 3 but if he is slated to play inside he has a few years to bulk up as our core 4's are pretty dang well, contrary to Maui's take on things. Oh yea, and Maui, if you want to see a 6'9" 4 man that can play immediately try watching a Pac 12 game or perhaps an ACC game. You dont find many of those in our conference.

Re: LOIs Galore
Does anyone know anything new about recruiting? I know its mid-season, but ESPN still has this Dyshawn Pierre listed as interested in UP.

Re: LOIs Galore
Don’t count on him coming to UP. This kid has generated a lot of interest from BIG schools since his great club play this past summer. He knows about UP, but I know he’s already made visits to other schools. I saw the ESPN page on him; it’s not accurate or up-to-date.RipCityPilot wrote:Does anyone know anything new about recruiting?
